Stereotaxic Instrument for Laboratory Mice + 3D Moving Platform for Ultrasound Probe
I. Usage Overview
- Used in conjunction with the stereotaxic instrument, this device supports localization, injection, recording, imaging and other related experiments.
- It fixes the animal’s head to enable further experiments on the legs, abdomen, back and other body parts.
- The manipulator arm adopts a coordinated design of lead screws and rolling mechanisms, ensuring long-term stability and precision of the coordinate axes.Meanwhile, it reduces the number of connecting joints, greatly eliminating errors caused by multi-joint connections and enhancing overall stability.
II. Component Description
Stereotaxic Instrument for Mice
- Mouse brain stereotaxic base
- Gas anesthesia inlet and rodent breathing outlet
- Head fixation device (secures the head via incisor clamps, nasal bridge support and ear canal inserts)
- Mouse body platform
3D Translation Stage for Ultrasound Probe
- Probe holder (compatible with 14–22 MHz L12 high-frequency small animal ultrasound probes)
- X-axis: adjusts longitudinal scanning of the mouse (motorized-manual integrated, precision: 10 µm)
- Z-axis: adjusts the vertical contact distance between the probe and the mouse
- Y-axis: adjusts lateral scanning of the mouse (manual, precision: 10 µm)
Note:The X and Y axes are equipped with graduated scales for locating the mouse scanning area; the Z-axis has no graduated scale.
